I had a partner who after a Jehovah’s Witness visit had a moment of l’esprit de l’escalier, and that they should have flung the door wide open and yelled “You’re late! The goat’s going cold!” – I am still awaiting the opportunity to do this.
A friend once was suffering under a visit every few days for two weeks (his area must have been targetted for some reason) and so finally answer the door naked but for a gold necklace, cowboy boots, and a cheeky grin. They never came back.
