I am so very fed up of being told that my opinion will do an about-turn and I’ll some day want to have a small person grow inside my body and inconvenience me for the best part of a year, before continuing to interupt my normal living standards for years on end…
This is even worse when it comes from people who once thought they’d never want children. They assume that because *they* changed their minds, *everyone* will.
I’m 30 and my parents still say “when you have kids” as if this will happen. The second panel’s description sums up my feelings on it pretty well. I’m puzzled that other people take it so much for granted that every human female needs to be a baby-pod at some point to be happy.
